BEFORE THE NEED ARISES

It may happen that because of illness you may be unable to care for your finances or even too ill to consent to your medical treatment. You can give someone authority to take over the management of your finances if and when it is needed and you can appoint the same person, or another, to assist with your medical decisions should that need arise.

THE POWER OF ATTORNEY

The way to give someone (your Agent) authority to handle your finances is by signing a Power of Attorney. You can give your Agent broad, general powers, or you can limit the things your Agent can do by signing a Limited Power of Attorney. This legal Kit contains the following:

READY TO USE FORMS

* The Durable Power of Attorney with general powers

* The Power of Attorney with limited powers
